Thayer School Directory

Thayer School maintains an online directory for use by the Thayer Community only. Note that the Thayer School Directory is a restricted resource and you will need to provide your NetID and password to access.

Dartmouth College Directory

Dartmouth college maintains a public campus-wide directory of all Dartmouth students, and employees. Students on off terms may not appear in this directory. Your name in this directory may not be exactly the same as the name associated with your NetID. You can look up your exact name with the NetID using the this lookup link.

We encourage you to read through the pages about which information is published, and how to add directory information or opt-out of having information publicly available.

Configuring Your Address Book to Search the Dartmouth Directory

If you are using Outlook, Android, or iOS or Apple Mail for your Dartmouth email via Exchange you will already be configured to search the Dartmouth Global Address List.

It is possible to search Dartmouth's online directory from most other email address books and contact lists, but this requires manually configuring your address book to use Dartmouth's LDAP server.

Each program is different, so you will need to consult the documentation for your specific application and follow the instructions to add a new directory search.

The pertinent information you will need is as follows:

• Search Base: dc=Dartmouth,dc=edu (exactly as shown here)
• Server Address: ldap.dartmouth.edu
• Port: 636
• Use SSL: Yes
• Authentication: Simple
• Username: cn=<your First M. Last>,dc=dartmouth,dc=edu
• Password: <your dartmouth.edu password>
