Loaner Laptops

Thayer Computing Services maintains a pool of laptop computers available for short-term loan to Thayer School users.

All laptops are Lenovo ThinkPad T480s & T450s running Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit and have Ethernet & wireless adapters, and video-out for connecting to projectors (HDMI).

The loaner laptops run the full set of general and engineering software available in the M210 computer lab, including the Microsoft Office suite and web browsers. Logon is via your NetID and password.

There is no charge for borrowing a laptop.

Loan terms are up to two weeks for students, up to two weeks for staff, and up to one month for faculty.

Long term loaners can also be requested for projects / research

Availability is first-come, first-served. Unfortunately, we cannot take reservations in advance.
